Heart & Bone Studio was founded by Miko Beach, a New Jersey native, born in North Jersey and raised in the Atlantic City area. The studio was created as a co-working space for LGBTQIA artists, fostering collaboration, sharing resources, and exchanging ideas.

The symbolism behind "Heart & Bone" reflects the idea of giving your all to what you love, breaking down to our simplest form—heart and bone, flesh and bone—and dedicating every ounce of ourselves to our dreams.

Miko draws inspiration from his time in New York and North Jersey, incorporating city culture like graffiti, street art, and fashion, and blending it with elements from growing up by the beach in Atlantic City.
